They're not bad but it could be weird to have to work with them sometimes. His Relic slots are also quite odd, Mask giving him some decent Stamina or Self Healing Support, but Trap also doing basically the same thing, just with other Stamina Draining Revenge options available. Tuberkhan is pretty much completely outclassed in his field by Raris simply due to the fact that he lacks any Cleansing, which is important to allow a Denier to get through certain Immunities and Protections, and he also lacks Single + AoE Denies which would have helped him in bypassing the common Dodge Area to successfully Deny everyone. This is around where the positives end though. He also has 2 Denial effects, allowing him to effectively Chain Deny a little bit. His trait on the surface looks bad, but given his Denier nature, True Vision becomes a huge asset, allowing him to almost never miss vs those annoying Umbrella traits of Hardened, Tough, and Bulwark. On top of this he can also spread Quicksands for some Torture chip dmg. He can also Support his Allies with Stamina replenishes and he can deactivate his Team's Cooldowns, which can also counteract the large Cooldowns his best skills have. Tuberkhan is a terrible Earth and Nature element Denier + Support hybrid who can apply both Roots and Stun to Deny his enemies.
